My Story

For much of my life, I searched for what many people seek: peace, purpose, love, and a deeper connection with Spirit/God/Universe/Source. My journey has not always been easy. Like many people, I experienced challenges that shaped me in profound ways. Growing up in a home affected by alcoholism, dysfunction, sexual abuse, and trauma, I learned early lessons about fear, control, and survival.

Those experiences eventually led me on a lifelong path of healing, personal growth, and spiritual awakening. For several decades, I worked as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Therapist and a Spiritual Life Coach, helping others find hope and recovery. My own spiritual journey has now spanned more than fifty years. I have walked through seasons of both great joy and great challenge.

While I loved that work, I gradually realized that true healing involves more than changing behaviors. It involves healing the heart, learning to love ourselves, and remembering the truth of who we are. We are all connected and ONE.

Through it all, I have come to believe that every experience can become a doorway to greater wisdom, love, compassion, and faith. One of the most transformative chapters of my life came recently when I experienced a long season of insomnia.

For nearly a year, I searched for answers. I tried many approaches and often felt frustrated, discouraged, ashamed, and like a failure that I was unable to sleep. During that difficult season, I discovered something important: my nervous system was dysregulated, and much of my suffering came from trying to control what I could not control. I tried to control my sleep, and my nervous system responded as if sleep was unsafe. I used Emotional Freedom Techniques EFT to support my body and nervous system. I am now consistently sleeping 8 hours a night.

As I learned to surrender, trust, and regulate my nervous system, I began to experience a deeper peace and gratitude than I had ever known. What I once viewed as a problem became a teacher and healer.

Today, I understand that healing is not about becoming perfect. It is about learning to trust life, trust Spirit, and trust ourselves. It is about accepting what is, releasing what no longer serves us, and opening our hearts to receive more love and abundance. I have been blessed to share these lessons through spiritual life coaching, workshops, and my weekly inspirational blog.

I wrote my first book, “Simply a Woman of Faith,” 18 years ago, and my husband Larry and I wrote “It’s Never Too Late for Love 5 years ago. My greatest joy is helping women discover that it is never too late to heal, grow, awaken, and live a meaningful life. At nearly eighty years old, I continue to learn, grow, and deepen my faith every day. I believe that life is not a problem to solve but a journey to embrace.

No matter where you are on your spiritual path, I want you to know that peace, healing, and a deeper connection with Source/God are possible for you right now. I invite you to trust yourself and step into your power. Your soul is calling you to remember who you are.

My hope is that through our work together, you will discover what I have discovered: that beneath the fear, beneath the struggle, and beneath the need to control, there is peace and love that has been waiting for you all along.
